additional services

  • Tooth Whitening

    • Professional grade gel (hydrogen peroxide 16%) is placed in custom-fit trays and worn for a pre-determined amount of time by the patient every day for approximately two weeks in order to lighten the color of teeth

  • Nitrous Oxide (Inhalation Sedation)

    • A safe and effective way to help reduce anxiety associated with your visit to the dentist.  Nitrous oxide gas is inhaled through the lungs for the duration of your appointment and has no after-effects, meaning patients do not need to come to their appointment with a designated driver or guardian.  Safe for most children and adults.

  • Dental Sealants

    • A light-cured composite material that acts as a barrier on the occlusal (top) of the back teeth to help prevent dental caries.  These are especially popular in children who have just developed their permanent first and second molars as well as adults at high risk for dental decay or those with deep grooves in the teeth.

  • Bruxism Guards (Tooth Grinding or Clenching Guards)

    • If you clench or grind your teeth when you sleep, a hard, plastic mouth guard or split may help prevent wear and tear on your teeth.  Custom-molded guards are more comfortable and better-accepted by patients than over the counter mouth guards and typically have to be replaced less often.

  • Endodontics (Root Canals)

    • Root canal therapy allows patients to save a tooth rather than extract it if there is an infection or very large cavity.  Endodontic treatment removes the nerve and blood supply of the individual tooth with specialized instruments and replaces the void with a specialized material called gutta percha.  Typically, a crown is recommended after RCT is completed.

  • Extractions (Removal of Teeth)

    • If a tooth becomes badly decayed beyond repair, or if endodontic therapy is denied, sometimes a tooth must be removed as a last resort.  Replacement options for missing teeth are typically available, depending on which tooth in the arch is removed.
